At the final stop in Huntington Beach, Calif. Tom Schaar out-skated 20 of the world’s best park and terrain skateboarders to claim the top spot in the final global qualifier of the 2017 Vans Park Series Men’s Pro Tour this weekend.

Schaar strung together a line full of big airs and technical tricks over the lips and coping to take first place. Ben Hatchell came in second with CJ Collins rounding out the top three. It’s the second stop of the tour that Schaar won after the 17-year-old took the top prize in Australia back in March. Check out Schaar’s winning run below.

The second first-place finish solidifies Schaar’s position as the number one skater in the 2017 VPS Challenger rankings, and with Huntington Beach marking the end of the VPS qualifying tour the stage is finally set for the 2017 Vans Park Series World Championships in Shanghai, China on September 23rd. The top seven highest-ranked part tour challengers will advance to join the Vans Park Series Select Pros and VPS Continental Champions for one last competition to determine the park and terrain skateboarding world champion.

The final Challenger rankings are:

  1. Tom Schaar
  2. Karl Berglind
  3. Murilo Peres
  4. Willy Lara
  5. Tristan Rennie
  6. CJ Collins
  7. Roman Pabich

After taking over the X Games 13-year-old Brighton Zeuner dominated the women’s competition. The current park and terrain world champion, Zeuner displayed a great flow and old-school style in order to claim the top spot.

Zeuner is one of three VPS Women’s Select Pros, automatically seeded into the upcoming world championships event. Bryce Wettstein took second place while Nora Vasconcellos finished third.

The seven women Challengers qualifying for the VPS World Championships was also determined at Huntington Beach. The final rankings are:

  1. Nora Vasconcellos
  2. Bryce Wettstein
  3. Kody Tamanaha
  4. Grace Marhoefer
  5. Hanna Zanzi
  6. Lizzie Armanto
